DOORS
Our heavy-duty marine doors are particularly suited for application in harsh conditions where a high level of weather or water tightness and durability is essential. We supply fire doors, watertight doors, gastight and weather-tight doors in materials such as steel, aluminium, and composite.
Depending on operational and safety requirements, doors can be equipped with windows and/or central locking systems or single-lever operated closing mechanisms.
All hatches are gas-tight, water-tight, or weather-tight tested and fully compliant with relevant international standards and classification society rules, including DNV-GL, Lloyd’s Register, and Bureau Veritas.
HATCHES
Ambtman Marine manufactures marine hatches according to client specifications and project requirements. Hatches can be supplied in steel, aluminium, or composite materials and are available in a wide range of configurations, including:
Flush or raised coamings in various heights
Central locking or dog-closed systems (with or without central levers)
Hinged or counterbalanced designs
Adjustable stay arms or gas struts
All hatches are gas-tight, water-tight, or weather-tight tested and fully compliant with relevant international standards and classification society rules, including DNV-GL, Lloyd’s Register, and Bureau Veritas.

WINDOWS
Our marine windows and portholes are available in steel, aluminium, or composite frames and can be installed by bolting, welding, or clamping, depending on vessel design and operational requirements.
We offer a wide range of sizes, corner radii, and configurations, including portholes and side scuttles with or without deadlights, as well as top- or side-hinged windows.
A key part of our expertise lies in bonded window solutions in collaboration with our German partner RGS. This technique is widely used on large mega yachts where we are the undisputed market leader. In addition this technique is increasingly requested for ferries and tankers as an alternative to traditional steel-framed windows to ensure lower maintenance due to less corrosion and easier change-out of windows in case of window damage. Bonded windows offer improved corrosion resistance, reduced maintenance, and a cleaner aesthetic finish.
